Lu Tahu Tak?

Never expected the day to arrive so soon. It feels like only
yesterday I stepped into college. A transition from a kid to a teenager. But
now here, in the CX888 flight from Hong Kong to

Vancouver

, I am undergoing the evolution
becoming a young adult. Yesterday I had my family, friends and loved ones to
rely now. Today, I’m in control of myself. Total independency. Ah well, not
completely but some sort what =P I know, I know, my aunt is picking me up from
the airport. But hey! I managed to hop on to the flights and not get lost kay…
I did the whole transit thing by meself. Fine.. Nothing to be proud of la..
Hehe. However, I believe that I actually courage enough to leave everything
behind, begin a whole new life in a total complete new environment. Things are
definitely gonna be different. Well, that’s the whole learning process of
growing up. =)

 

Anyway, enough of this mumbo-jumbo bout my yak yak adulthood
wannabe. I’ll just tell you guys bout my first time experience of traveling
alone in a plane to the other side of the world.. Hehe.

 

Arriving at KL

at 7am. Wow,
finally the day has come! I’m gonna FLY! Whole time I kept a smiling face.
Well, I thought leaving the home with a happy heart would be a positive thing
to do… Did the check in and exchange all my Ringgit into Canadian $. Sakit hati
giler babi.. I needed a RM 340.90 for $100 Canadian. Aih, that shows how bad
our currency was.. I felt 200 bucks richer when I had RM. Hehe..

 

Alia darling came about 715am. Thanks for coming babe! I
really, really, really appreciate it a lot. At least this would be the last
time I see you before you become that famous

Kenny came shortly after Alia. Thank you to you too my DEAR
UNCLE. Hehe.. I’m amazed you could still make it on time despite clubbing til
the wee hours in the morn =P Nevertheless, I really appreciate your presence.
Tho we only got to know each other this year, I’m glad we managed to get close
despite being relatives over the 19 years of my life. Thanks for your gift by
the way. It was a real thoughtful one =)

 

The boys came at about 745 am. Calvin, Calvin, Yc, Trist. I
am sure happy and touched that you boys managed to make it. I know waking up at
6am wasn’t easy. Specially during the holidays =P Which is why, I will repay
your efforts greatly… I will introduce the hottest chick in my uni to you guys
okay =P See, I’m so nice. Hehe.. TJ and Trist, you boys sure gonna miss my
bullying d. Now no one to for me to declare my MANliness anymore… aww… No
matter how much you boys deny that you miss me, I sure won’t do so coz I’ll
miss ya guys a lot! All the trips we went together were definitely worthwhile.
It’s amazing that we were close last time, and we still managed to get closer
before the departure. Both sad and happy, I’m glad it happened. YC, if you do
read my blog, here’s my msg for you! Don’t be so QUIET la.. Speak Out, Stand
Out! I know you can do it alright! If you wanna kao lui, my offer still stands…
Hehe. I’ll give u great pointers for what you need to get the Girl of Your Dreams.

 To those of you who
didn’t make it to the Airport… aih, I’m so sad… Don’t wanna friend you guys
already. Hehe, just kidding la. I’m not that mean. Thanks for all your well
wishes. To Beng Han, Eng Seen, Tommy, Navvii, Alvin, Kylie, thanks for your
calls and well wishes. I’m gonna miss all of you all very much =(

 

Omg, this one became a dedication post pulak. Stray ady too
much from topic. Hehe. Soweee..

Anyway, I hoped into the airplane at about 950 am. Was
seated next to this nice old kuai lou who used to be a prison cop in U.S. Cool
uh… The whole trip from KL to HK, we were talking non-stop. 4 hours. Imagine.
Hehe.. Ah well, it made the journey less tedious nevertheless. I stopped by at
HK as mentioned on the previous post. Shall not bore you again with it.. Hehe.

 

Got into the flight CX 888 that was gonna take me to

Vancouver

at 305pm. 15
hours! Ahh.. and the worst thing was, I got the window seat. “Got view wut …”
You can say that but the agony of tahan’ing that bloody bladder was too much.
Each time I need to pee, I had to disturb my flight mates. Fortunately for me,
they’re nice and polites Hong Kies. But I still damn paiseh ler.. Each time I go,
I had to push my butt towards their face. Whattodo! Not enough room to move la!
Economy class ma.. After this experience, the next time I fly, I want the aisle
seat! When I’m rich, I will fly FIRST CLASS! Haha .. *dreams* Damn jealous tau,
lookin at those rich-ass ladies carrying their whatever branded bags going thru
the first class entrance. Sigh, I want a rich husband.. =(

 

As soon as I was seated, I took off my boots and made myself
comfy with the much given space which was very lil =p There was this lil tv
screen in front of my seat. I can choose to watch over 10 channels but I was
too lazy to do so. I watched Talladega Nights tho. Stupid movie I’d say. Most
of the time, I was trying to get myself comfy as the person seated in front of
me was this gigantic Kuai lou who kept pushing is seat towards me! Sial betul..
Dah la I no space, he wanna take my space sumore. I felt like kicking him but I
tahan… sigh.. I tahan for 15 bladdy hours okay!

 

Anyway, the airplane food was quite nice to my surprise.
Apparently, it was catered from several famous restaurants in

Hong
Kong

. I had English Breakfast for breakfast =P and sum pasta
thingie for lunch. That one not so nice. For my dinner, I had chicken noodles
and it was good. Sandwiches was given for supper. Not bad as well.. Ham and egg.
Now tell me ler, eating so much on the plane, sumore long hours, confirm fat
la! I feel like a tub of lard now =(

 

Once I touch ground in

Vancouver

I thought I can just collect my “Dreaded Overly Heavy” luggage and meet my
aunt. Mana tau, so many things have to do. Went thru the customs first, then to
the conveyor belt. Waited for my luggage for about 20 mins. When it came, I was
bracing all my energy to drag it off the belt. HOWEVER, I wasn’t strong enough…
as expected, I was dragged along wit my bag. Was sooooOooo embarrassing! Then a
lady and another man helped me with the bag. I suppose they can’t help it, I was
banging against the lady and my trolley was shoving into the man’s legs =P *soweeee*

 

After collecting my stupid bags, I needed to collect my
study permit from the immigration office. Took about 30 minutes. Then I had to
go to the declaration office coz I was carryin more than $10k Canadian. Nah,
who wanna rob me, come to here la.. I wait for you wit open arms. Hehe…

 

When I was done, finally I’m allowed to leave the airport. Saw
my cute cute granny and aunt waitin for me.. Once step out from airport, a gust
of wind blew.. Bbrrrr! It was afternoon when I reached so there was still sun.

 

My aunt drove us back to her place. It’s somewhere in

Richmond

which is known as

Vancouver

’s
modern

China

town. I won’t have to worry about not eating Chinese food here =P My granny
kept feeding me once I step into the house. Hongkie Yau Cha Kuai, egg tart,
some sesame thingie and Chung.. not bad eh.. specially the egg tart. Hehe.

 

Took my shower.. another bRrrrr moments. Shit, I think I’ll
only bathe once a day. Freaking cold like hell. Must wear socks all the time.  Now I’m sitting in the hall while my granny
preparing dinner. So cold.. it’s like colder than Genting. About 5 degrees now.
And I heard tonight it’s gonna dip til -1. Help!!

 

Anyone kind enough to tapao the Lok-Lok chilli for me?
