I went for FREE FACIAL from Clinique yesterday at KLCC Parkson with Navvii. Wondering why is it free? I got tons of vouchers from Beng Han from the Clinique Roadshow. All in, I think I have RM Kei Chin Kao (few thousand) of Clinique services (on paper only.. not cash) hehe.. I wish I can convert em to cash =P (I see more Guess Bags.. haha)

Anyway, each voucher booklet is worth RM 500. 3 vouchers for Beauty Makeover and 2 vouchers for Facial. Each service worth RM 100 each ..(which i dont think worth that price at all) I went for the Free Beauty Makeover and I think I can do a better job.. not kidding.. She took more time explaining what product she’s using on me rather than doing my makeup properly..

Clinique Lady : Your eyes very dry hah.. u better use our BLa Bla Bla.. can Bla bla bla.. Ur eyes more beutifuuulllll!

Yea yea, I know I got dehydrated eyes or whatever u put it.. I know also no point.. I’m not gonna spend RM 200 on a miniscule eye whatever cream bla bla yet.. wait til I marry my zillionaire.. then we talk =P

Ok, back to the Facial. While waiting for my turn, Navvii and I were sitting at the counter.. Cam Whoring =P Typical..

I was contaminating the make-up brushes there with my dirty fingers. Navvii was having Roti Boy and she played with the blusher. So don’t say I didn’t warn ya all.. Don’t get any make up done at Clinique Parkson KLCC.. IF u dun wanna get RotiBoy’ed pimples =P

Went in the facial room about 115pm (appointment was 1pm). My Facialist (this word dun exist kays~) was a really nice lady.. She’s damn pretty and got soft hands .. Yum =P While doing my facial, we chat chat and make friend aka build connection. I promised her some vouchers too coz she wanna give her friends. Staff don’t get privileges such as us consumers. As much privileges we get, we also are also ripped off by being tricked to buy super expensive beauty products that we certainly don’t need.

I asked her, whether she can get Clinique products at cheaper price, as in staff price. She said Yes.. 40% off.. WOW! That’s almost half price.. BUT.. It’s not worth it. Wanna know why? After they purchase the product, their salary will be cut by the management.. epf la, socso, sisco bla blabla.. at the end of the day, it’s not worth buying after all.

For the 45 mins, I was bz chatting wit her ler.. Alright, i know while doing facial not suppose to talk and stuff.. but Mei Qin will die if she don’t talk okay~ hehe..
Overall, I’m quite satisfied with the facial. It was my first time anyway so I dun have any other facials to compare with. She put lotsa stuff on my face, all wit weird canggih’ed names. All in the name of BEAUTY.. hehe.. She also gave me a face massage and also extracted all the kepala hitam on my nose. I got freaking lots of them. Pretty much enjoyed the facial.. I’ll be goin back there again.. haha.. I still got a whole stack =P

Reached Isetan Carpark. Found a parking spot right nex to the entrance. Looking good looking goood… I feel the good vibes ady..
Was at 4th floor! Stupid parking lot entrance at 4th floor and they dun allow customers to enter the 4th floor entrance of Isetan. I had to run down allllllll the way to the Ground Floor to go into Isetan and go UPPPP alllll the way to 4th floor again to buy my beloved perfume!

I almost wanted to spend RM 200++ for that bloody perfume and now only cost RM 78?! BLoody hell!
Mingled around.. then I saw ANNA SUI perfumes.. Tested it, *sniff* eh, not bad the smell.. 50 ml perfume + body lotion + body gel = RM 110. Quite cheap ..
Paid for my perfumes.
Shit.. overspend d..
Nvm.. Went down to Ground floor to check out Clinique to see if there are any promotions.
ON the way down.. I saw.. 50% discount.. on GUESS BAGS! SHIET!

Bought my stuff and had waffles with Malcolm at Waffles Stop in front of Isetan. Go check it out if you can. The waffles there are nice!
We yumchar-ed and waffle-ed until 1030pm. Realised that getting late d.. Malcolm had to move his car by 11pm and so we went to my car first.
Turns out that the whole mall was closed ady! Shit! Looked high and low for an entrance to get into the car park. Round and round until we found a lonely guard sitting outside. Asked him and turns out we have to take the lift until 5th floor then walk out to the car park. So mah kuai fan.. We made it by 10.55pm to Malcolm’s carpark.. Malcolm was relieved.. If not he has to leave his car d overnight =P

Anyway, my short and expensive outing ended up pretty successful =P

Yeps, as the title suggest, I had another "interesting" encounter during my latest job.
It was during the HOMEDEC ‘06 at KL Convention Center. I was working for H*ng L*e as a flyer girl cum sales promoter cum boss "entertainer". Entertainer huh you must b thinking.. don’t worry, I did not do any "xtra" job mentioned in Easiest Way to Make $$$ . Anyway, I had to stand from 11am - 9 pm distributing flyers and explain to customers about the electronic items on sale. I was supposed to do sales as well ie selling LCD’s, DVD players, air conds and bla bla bla. I was working there along with another 3 girls. We were paid RM 120 a day and NO, WE DON’T GET ANY COMMISSION IF WE SOLD ANYTHING. However, we still need to do sales whether we like it or not. I sold RM 5k worth of products ya know! Sigh.. No commission..

My bosses were two 30 ++ year old men. The biggest boss is a married man and he also tangkap us stealing chickens and the 2nd boss is not married and yes, he is the Ham Sap one. For your information, I did not kena molested if that’s what you’re thinking kays…

As I was saying, the 2nd boss was incharge of hiring us girls. He told my agent’s partner than he wants pretty girls as his promoters. So fine la, my agent looked for me and two other girls. We worked on the first day.. da boss got no complains. On the 2nd day, he said he wanted one more girl. So okla, my agent found another girl who was to me a very pretty girl. However, on the 3rd day, when I arrived at work, all 3 girls dissapeared and was replaced by other girls. I was quite surprised. When I asked my agent.. he said.. Boss don’t like the other girls coz not pretty enough. What the hell? Left another 2 more days also wanna change.. Luckily I didn’t kena fired as well ler.. Anyway, it just proves that he’s Ham Sap la..
Besides this, he always like to come near us girls and talk to us la.. ask us to go out with him, go party, go sing K, go dance go bla bla bla.. He even invited me to his Birthday party.. what the tuuuut…

When I asked about my commission, the fella said, you come out makan with me, we go Victoria Station. Puhhleesse, I prefer cash.. Finished my job on Sunday.. Suppose to get money by today but agent haven’t pass it to me yet.

That’s my job.. as the emcee for the Loreal Paris Studio Line Star Search roadshow in colleges. The objective of this roadshow is simple. Which is, to look out for Dude and Dudettes aged between 18 - 25 years old to be the Next Loreal Paris Studio Line Models. We ran this roadshow at 4 private institution, namely Sunway College, Inti College, MMU and Taylor’s College. I only worked for 2 days tho which was yesterday and today at MMU and Taylor’s College. Besides my job as an emcee, I also act as the photoshoot chereographer which I must say, a very FUN job indeed. I will decide how the contestants should pose and look which I find it a very INTERESTING and SATISFYING thing to do.. coz i get to stare as much as i like .. Without causing any "wrong impression" haha =P

Anyway, besides deciding how the should pose and emcee’ing, I also scout around for good looking ppl =P muahahaa.. trust me, I enjoyed it very much indeed =P Looking out for Hot Guys and Girls is definitely my thing =P Me, Ivy, Chow Ken,  Lisa and Karen were very enthutiastic with our job. Lisa is in charge of taking photos, Me as CamWhore Photo Coordinator, Karen’s the Tai Ka Che who’s in charge of the contestants, Ivy and ChowKen will be the ones giving out flyers and get ppl to join the contest. Jason Sim was our Supervisor who always ask us to come one hour earlier than him and Khew is the Project Manager of this roadshow.

The responses for this roadshow was not bad. There were about 50 plus entries from MMU and an overwhelming 90 + entries from Taylor’s Subang. Amazingly, there were more good looking guys that good looking girls. I’m not saying this just because I’m a girl and i love good looking guys  but it’s a fact that we managed to get alot of good looking guys in this contest compared to girls. You wouldn’t believe if I tell you that the ratio of good looking guys to girls is about 5 : 1. Yes, 5 Handsome Guys to 1 Pretty Girl. so unfair. Anyway, based on what I’ve seen so far, there were 3 very pretty girls and 1 very Handsome guy from MMU. The rest was just ugly, average or slightly above average. However, at Taylor’s, we saw like 10 plus plus Good Looking and Photogenic guys compared to only like.. 2 PHotogenic girls? Pretty sad huh..

Another thing I’ve noticed also that some ppl who don’t look good in real person but actually look HAWT on photos! Specially the guys at Taylors. Lisa and I were like shocked when we took their photos. It was like .. WHOA! Extremely photogenic from every angle! However.. in person.. er.. hehe =P Ah Bengs don’t look like Ah Bengs.. La La’s don’t look like La La’s. Why why why… so the very jealous!

Anyway, the roadshow ended today at Taylor’s Subang with lotsa interesting events as well. Such as two lovely girls who were sporting enough to Rap Twinkle Twinkle Little Star and sang Mary Had A Little Lamb Opera Style. Two of them were actually part of this group of four who enjoyed cam-ho’ing =P I do too. We had lotsa fun taking loads of photos with ppl that we think are of quality =P I wouldn’t mind if the roadshow would have continued for a few more days because I think it’s my best roadshow job so far =P yes, and the pay is still RM 80.

Remember in entry My Eventful Wednesday, I wrote about being approached by 2 talent scouts? Sunshine and Moonlight? Anyway, they called me and Navvii for an interview tomorrow at their office..

So, we did our homework by checking about the company online..
Turns out that.. this company is actually a scam. In nicer terms, MLM (multi-level-marketing) in Disguise. They use TALENT SEARCH as the MAIN Idea.. but in actual fact, they just wanna sell you their cheap cosmetic products which worth RM 300 and above!They’ll also offer you grooming classes that will be held for 6 consecutive Saturdays which apparently cost RM 2000. If you miss one class, you’ll have to pay RM2000. How do they recruit young naive girls who think that they can be potential models like me and navvii to join their company? Refer back to the link above.

Anyway, if any of you all came across so-called talent scouts in shopping malls? Don’t fall for it. Specially if they got no real business cards. I almost did =P

And also, do your homework about the company before you go for any interviews. There are alot good fourms that can guide you. I would suggest Malaysian Babes Forum. It saved me from this unfortunate scam!

12 pm, start preparing.. take loooooong shower.. tweeze hairs at unwanted places.. Make up, make up, make up.. change clothes.
1pm, leave house. Reach location before 2pm.
Reach location. Short briefing. Start work. Stand next to car. Look Pretty and Delicious.
2 hours later..
Finish work. Go back home. MOney come on the spot. Triple digit pay.
